Aims and Scope

TERRA ORTHOPAEDICA is a peer-reviewed open access medical journal dedicated to the publication of scholarly and clinical materials in the fields of orthopaedics, traumatology, arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery, prosthetics, rehabilitation, and related disciplines.

The aim of the journal is to disseminate high-quality scientific research, clinical experience, educational materials, and professional discussions that contribute to the development of orthopaedics and traumatology in Ukraine and internationally.

The journal publishes materials related to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention, and scientific study of diseases, injuries, deformities, and functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system.

TERRA ORTHOPAEDICA accepts original research articles, review articles, case reports, clinical observations, educational materials, conference materials, consensus documents, professional discussions, and other scholarly materials relevant to the journal’s subject area.

The journal welcomes submissions from authors from Ukraine and other countries. Manuscripts are considered for publication based on their scientific quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, ethical compliance, and the results of peer review.

Research involving human participants, human biological material, medical records, or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards. Detailed ethical requirements are provided in the journal’s Publication Ethics policy.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo initial editorial screening and, where appropriate, independent double-blind peer review. Detailed information is provided in the Peer-review Process section.
